Get access to Telia Norway´s 2+ million customers. Telia Norway has a proven, robust platform processing several hundred million transactions yearly.

Send SMS to all subscribers residing in Telia Norway network. We provide both

  • SMPP, and
  • REST

Telia can provide virtual mobile number for two-way SMS. Note they do not support voice. We can offer both single number and series.

The SenderID protection service (SPS) makes sure a senderID of an SMS message only can be sent on predefined Telia SMS Bulk account/s (short number/s). The purpose of the service is to block misuse (spoofing) of senderID from unauthorized senders.

A Brand can register one or multiple senderIDs they use with a list of the SMS Bulk accounts they are sent on. If the senderID originates outside this list, Telia will block the message and return an error code.

Note: The purpose of the service is to remove senderID spoofing, not protecting immaterial right. Customers are typically large consumer brands attractive to misuse in spoofing campaigns.

Blacklist

Each protected senderID will have a blacklist of alias senderIDs. The purpose of the blacklist is to stop look-alikes trying to pass as legitimate messages.

Ordering

It is only the originating Brand who can order SPS, directly or through their service provider. Telia will require a letter of authorization from the Brand acknowledging the service provider they use.

RBM (RCS Business Messaging) is a messaging service that enables businesses to communicate with end users using RCS messages.

The messaging service features several capabilities like: Verified SenderID (name and logo), photo, video, chat, buttons, usage statistics and more for branded, interactive mobile end user experiences.

How to get started with RBM messaging

To send RBM messages to Telia Norway mobile subscribers, you must follow these steps:

  1. Register as a developer with Google. Find more information about this here:

  2. Order Telia Norway “RBM messaging” product. This is necessary or Telia will not approve the agents you launch.

  3. Develop and launch an agent with the Google Jibe platform.

  4. When the agent is registered with Google, Telia is notified to approve or reject the agent. When the agent is approved, communication with Telia Norway mobile subscribers is allowed.
